Ying Chen is an Urban Planner and Landscape Designer with a wide interest in urban regeneration, streetscape design and green urbanism. At McCann Adams Studio, Ying has worked on transportation planning, public space design and community revitalization projects, including the Dripping Springs TIRZ Priority Projects, the City of Austin Corridor Construction Program and the CARTS Eastside Bus Plaza.

Education: Ying graduated from The University of Georgia in 2017 where she received a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture. Ying also holds a Masters degree in Urban Planning & Design from Nanjing Forestry University and a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from Southwest University in China.

Previous Experience: Ying has accumulated her professional experiences from a wide range of multi-scale landscape design and planning projects in China and the U.S. During her time in China, she worked on community planning and streetscape and landscape design projects. Ying has participated in large scale community planning and park design projects in South America, Japan and Europe while interning with EDSA in Florida.

Membership: Ying is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Congress for New Urbanism (CNU).
